The position is located at the Implementation Department (GenA), which is part of the regiment staff at Göta Transport Regiment (T 2).
The department is responsible for several important functions such as defense planning, mobilization, preparedness, operations, support to society, operational security, and security service. It is also responsible for VB service at the regiment. The head of GenA is responsible for and leads the regiment's order issuance at the unit. The department has a security section that is responsible for security protection service, IT security, signal protection, and personnel security, as well as other activities related to security service.
Main Responsibilities
The security officer will lead and coordinate the signal protection service and also serve as the signal protection chief for the regiment. In addition, the role includes supporting the unit's IT security chief and security chief with the handling of security-related matters and activities covered by security protection. This involves processing various types of cases within personnel security, physical security, and information security.
Additionally, as a staff member, you should be prepared to support where needed.
Other Responsibilities
- Train in signal protection
- Process signal protection cases such as key and card administration
- Be responsible for access systems/management
- Assist in control activities
- Assist in other activities related to security service
Qualifications
- Approved secondary education
- Driving license B
- Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
Desirable Qualifications
- Previous service in the Armed Forces
- Experience working with signal protection in the Armed Forces or another government agency
- Good computer skills and understanding of the Armed Forces' IT systems
- Trained signal protection chief
- Approved security training KHS (Course for security service handlers)

The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.

Start date is according to agreement
The position is currently located at the regiment staff at Göta Transport Regiment T 2 in Skövde, and you will be war-placed in one of our war units.
